​Special Audition Announcement!

​

ALL ROLES OPEN, Non-Union/Non-Paid: Currently seeking two exceptionally strong
performers for the following two roles that appear in the opening and closing scenes of the show:

Young Lola/Simon: (Age 9-12) Lola’s younger self who already knows he’s destined to wear
high heels. Only BIPOC actors will be considered. Vocal range G3-D5

Audition Information

1. Prepare a video that includes: (A) you saying your name, age, role you are auditioning for,
and song you are singing, and (B) sing about 32 bars of a song, about 30-45 seconds, that
shows off your vocal and acting talent - you may sing a song from Kinky Boots.

2. Send a link to your video (YouTube, Google Drive, etc.) along with a headshot and resume

3. In-person callbacks will occur the week of November 11-15 in Columbia, MD.

Rehearsal Information

Rehearsals primarily on Saturday mornings but there will be a few weeknights as we approach
performances. All rehearsals in Columbia, MD. We will work around the personal/school
schedule of the selected performers. Performances are March 2025 (6 evenings and 2 matinees).

Can Horton protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers? Will Jojo's imagination get him in trouble? Will Horton ever notice Gertrude? Well, in the Wubulus World of Dr. Suess, what do YOU think?
